The order for the SIRTAP UAS was announced by the Spanish Ministry of Defense on January 17, 2023. The contract includes the delivery of the UAS, as well as training and support services. The first SIRTAP UAS are expected to be delivered to Spain in 2025.

The SIRTAP UAS is a key part of Spain's plans to modernize its military.
