Thunderstorm Warnings Cover Southern Saskatchewan, Including Regina

Environment Canada has issued thunderstorm warnings for southern Saskatchewan, including the city of Regina. The warnings are in effect until 9:00 p.m. CST.

Stay Informed and Be Prepared

The thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and hail. Environment Canada is urging residents to be prepared for severe weather and to take the following precautions: * Stay indoors if possible. * If you are outside, seek shelter in a sturdy building. * Avoid open areas, high ground, and tall trees. * If you are driving, slow down and be aware of the potential for hydroplaning.
