Fatshark shows off a new trailer of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide during Gamescom

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the next title from the developer of the highly praised vermintide series, Fatshark. As part of the Gamescom Opening Night Live event a brand new trailer was shown, which gives us a new glimpse into the upcoming action title.

The trailer shows a total of eight minutes of new gameplay

The new trailer of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide shown during the Gamescom Opening Night Live clocks in at eight minutes and shows the gameplay of the upcoming title in more detail. It starts with four players infiltrating a huge manufacturing facility and having to fight their way through hordes of enemies to their goal. Among other things, the trailer shows a variety of ranged and melee weapons as well as new special opponents.

Finally, the trailer also shows some of the hub system of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. This includes activities such as taking on new missions, upgrading weapons and armour, and refining items. In addition, it was already announced that Fatshark plans to release a number of updates and expansions for the game after launch.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is expected to be released on September 13th.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be released on September 13th, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and Windows Game Pass. The coop action title is now available for pre-order in various editions, including a Collector's Edition featuring various items such as a figurine, an artbook and a soundtrack.
